Hi guys,

This is where character information will be hosted. Please make one post for each character. Feel free to write a back story for your character, maybe some basic physical description and personality traits, and then definitely include stats.

Here's a super brief example:

Name: Taji Flamespawn

Age: 40 (adulthood is 60)
Alignment: Chaotic neutral

Physical: Dark red skin, blonde hair, ram's horns and hoof feet, 4'5". When in towns, Taji covers herself with a large black cloak so as not to draw attention. Otherwise, she wears light blue and yellow ceremonial clothing with symbols of her clan.
Personality: Cocky and aloof when in comfortable situations, Taji quickly becomes withdrawn and sullen when she is out of her comfort zone. She is still a young woman, 20 years away from adulthood. As such, she is still impulsive and quick to judge. She considers very few people friends, regarding everyone else as either below her or conspiring against her.

Back story: Taji was born into a clan who worships demons. Devout worshipers are sometimes blessed with tiefling spawn, who are then regarded as sacred children. Taji was treasured and coddled until the age of 35, then was sent out into the world according to the clan's customs. She can return when she reaches adulthood, and must fend for herself until then. This was a harsh reality to young Taji. She quickly became sullen and angry, and has taken to accepting mercenary work to earn a living and to take her anger out on others legally.

Name: Kashu Torikkusuta

Race: Kitsune

Class: Bard

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Physical (Fox): Rich red fur with dark gold highlights, 5' 2”, thin but nimble limbs. His bright and colorful outfit with attached half-cape draws attention to him at all times.

Physical (Human): Red-Blond hair, short and somewhat wavy. 5'6”, long, strong limbs. The outfit remains the same, as do his vibrant green eyes. Has a habit of scratching his chin in a dog-like fashion.

Personality: Kashu defines “flair for the dramatic”. He cannot help but strike a pose as soon as he has entered a room, and not only feels comfortable in the center of attention, he thrives in it. As an entertainer, he cannot help but embellish stories, and will often convince people that impossible things have happened through sheer force of personality. While many people find his enthusiasm and inability to stop performing tiresome, he is able to sooth over dangerous situations with his quick wit and ability to speak faster than most can keep up with.

Backstory: Raised in a traveling caravan owned by a Fire-eater Ifrit, Kashu "Call me Kash" Torikkusuta was raised to be an entertainer. His best friend growing up was his older brother Dorama . They discovered their shape-changing abilities at the same time, each encouraging the other to improve. Their mother, Kyomi (actrobat) and father, Namkitu (Storyteller) trained and instructed the brothers for most days of the week, giving them the rest of the days to themselves to interact with the people who would be their audience.

Throughout their childhood the brothers were billed as a "sibling act", Kashu acting as the pipe player and singer, Dorama playing the harp and drums. The other performers were largely the family of Kitsune, a Half-Elf juggler/tumbler/firedancer named Uzumaki, and a human bard named Fancy Dan, the Ladies Man (specialized in romances). Being one of only six Kitsune that he encountered, Kashu learned to be comfortable in human form, spending extended periods of time in his shifted state.

When Dorama achieved adulthood at age 15, he left the caravan to set off on his own, quickly establishing himself as a traveling solo act and as a part of many different groups. Two years later, Kashu followed suit, seeking not only to entertain, but to experience new stories that no-one had ever heard before. Properly exaggerated, of course.

Name: Takahiro Kurosawa

Race: Tengu

Class: Cleric

Age: 17 (about 22-24 in human years)

Gender: Male

Alignment: Neutral Good

Physical: Black feathers, painted with intricate multicolored patterns that evoke his deity, Shelyn. Piercing amber eyes. 4'10", when he isn't hunched over. Dresses in modest hooded robes, but occasionally dresses in finer, more colorful material when the mood strikes him. His beak has several scratches and scrapes, and many scars line his body. However, his most prominent wound is a scar that runs down his right eye, which impairs his vision slightly.

Personality: Takahiro is modest, but many people mistake this for low self-esteem or social anxiety. While he can have bouts of emotional conflict, in practice he is quite confident and an expert in subterfuge, unafraid to use his quiet demeanor as a smoke screen to get what he wants. Sometimes, this gets the better of him and leads to him manipulating someone who does not deserve it, but he tries to find ways to gain penance for these actions. Hates fighting, prefers to hash things out logically, with words. However, he will fight if and when the time comes. He is a good speaker and gets along well with others, but prefers to express himself through art and writing, which he practices frequently, sometimes to the detriment of a social life. Being a devotee of Shelyn, he is supportive of love in all of its forms, regardless of race, class, or gender, himself leaning toward the male side of the scale.

Backstory: Like many Tengu, Takahiro grew up in the segregated slums of human communities, shunned by most of the common races. His father was unknown to him, and his mother was a cutthroat who only looked to him as a way to gain more gold. Almost immediately, he took to thievery, con jobs, and fighting for gold. Some of his scars came from his line of work. Others came from the wrath of his mother. Having no real home or family, he clung to the companionship of other Tengu, and soon found himself working with a Tengu gang called "Kurouzureiji" (Crow's Rage). It was here he met his first real friend, Shirou Imamura. Takahiro was fast and light; Shirou was quick-thinking and street smart, and they formed a powerful bond. Together, they made more money in a week than anyone in the entirety of Kurouzureiji made in a month, and eventually the duo broke apart from the gang to become daring thieves and con artists in their own right, dubbing themselves the "Umō no tōzoku," or "Feathered Bandits".

For a while, life was good. The Feathered Bandits could afford anything they desired, and both found comfort in each other's company. Inklings of what Takahiro later learned was romance began to stir in his heart, but, knowing not how to express these feelings, kept them inside himself. Unfortunately, happiness never lasts, and during Takahiro's 13th year, Shirou was assassinated by rivals from Kurouzureiji. Takahiro barely escaped with his life and fled the city, wandering for days. When he collapsed, nearly dead from wounding and starvation, he was picked up by a priest of Shelyn, goddess of art, love, and beauty.

Here, within the comforting walls of Shelyn's temple, Takahiro came to an epiphany. Shelyn had saved him from death because she knew that his true purpose had not been fulfilled. For three years he devoted himself to her, training in arts and spiritual warfare. He became especially proficient in linguistics and painting, and even fancied himself a bit of a poet, managing to publish several small volumes of romantic verse. As he came closer to adulthood, an indescribable ache began to pull at his heart, and slowly began to realize where he had gone wrong. Since he was young, all he did was take, ruining families, relationships, and countless lives. The only way to redeem himself in the eyes of Shelyn was to travel the world, giving the gift of art and love and making the world warmer, rather than colder. On the eve of his 17th birthday, he announced his plans to his elders, and he swore off of violence, vowing only to resort to it when absolutely necessary. He would start a new life for himself by giving, rather than taking. That was the answer to true enlightenment.

Name: Rauru Niru

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Race: Okami

Class: Samurai

Age: 20 (15 is adulthood)

Physical description: In human form, is 6ft no inches, dark brown hair with hints of grey, the same as his deity Aruman, medium in general size, with cold blue eyes. In wolf form, walks on all fours, and is around the same size of a regular wolf. Has no visible scars in either form. Usually wears normal traveler's clothes.

Personality: Rauru prefers anonymity and is always calm and collected, even in the heat of battle. When called upon, is not afraid to speak on a particular issue, even to spare ones feelings. Does what needs to be done. He would even sacrifice himself to save his friends because he believes he will rejoin his elders in his afterlife. Since he is the last of his "Order", he has made it his personal responsibility to carry on the "Order's" traditions by means of story telling and writing.

Background: Rauru is the last of his tribe. One of the most ancient tribes of all the Okami. Because it's so ancient its name fell out of history, and is only referred to as "The Order". "The Order" wasn't decimated by another Okami tribe, nor did it not have a dark side, it simply withered with age and the only one to carry on the traditions of old is Rauru. He has no inner struggle or regret, he wanders the countryside educating those who would listen to him. He has no vengeance in his heart, but will protect those who need it.

Name: Neji Denbigh

Alignment: Neutral Good

Race: Gnome

Class: Ranger

Gender: Female

Age: 40 (adult)

Physical Description: Neji stands 3 feet tall exactly and will tell you this whenever she possibly can. Her skin glows as a pastel mint green with bright emerald eyes to match. Much like other female Gnomes, Neji's hair is constantly in a state of chaos or quirky shapes. Her hair is naturally black (medium to short) though she tends to dye it off and on. Neji has a naturally strong build, with shorter more muscular legs that make up for her petite upper torso. Neji feels just as comfortable buck naked as she does clothed but in order to blend in with other societies she typically wears chain mail underneath a hooded blouse with loose cotton pants.

Personality: Whimsical, eccentric, outlandish and other such adjectives only begin to describe her inscrutable behavior. She is very outgoing and loves to tease whoever she can with impunity. With no ties to any religion or structured society, Neji is free to live as she pleases which is why she feels most comfortable in the solitude nature can provide. She loves the thrill of the hunt and finds surviving in the hostil wilderness "exhilarating". However, when she is in the mood she will travel to all manner of towns and cities to meet people, read books and learn a new language. The world fascinates her immensely and she is always in search of something she doesn't understand. If it's new, it must be good! Most of these interests include biology, magic, linguistics, hunting, geology, and crafting. She will find some hobby/subject and will apply herself to it for days or weeks on end until she has perfected it entirely...or until she gets bored.

Background: Neji grew up in a typical Gnome family with her Mother, Father, Uncle, Aunts, and Grandfather as they traveled around the country and settled on the outskirts of small towns. Since Neji's family struggled to make ends meet, her father taught her how to hunt with the most minimal of supplies. With her mother and aunt's knowledge of helpful herbs and plants, Neji was able to keep her family surviving simply off the land when times were tough. In her adolescence Neji's family abandoned her in search of wealth in the larger cities. She was left in a small hut to care for her sick grandfather who told her the history and myths of her people. Unlike most other Gnomes, Neji formed a strong bond with her grandfather and could never bring herself to leave him. At the age of 37, her grandfather passed and Neji was faced with a lonely existence. In her grief she remained isolated in the forest until she reached full adulthood and decided to go search for fortune and adventure. Because of her odd behavior and often rude pranks, Neji struggles to conform herself to human society, let alone make any friends. To keep out of trouble she has taken odd jobs, mostly as a bounty hunter to put her tracking skills to good use.

Name: Akima

Race: Sylph

Physical: 5' 0", 100 lbs, light blue swirls on pale (almost translucent) white skin, bright violet eyes, light lavender hair.

Age: 70 (adulthood)

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Occupation: Rogue

Personality: Extremely curious, but normally stays in the shadows. Quiet and distrusting, but extremely loyal once trust has been earned, IF trust is earned. Not accustomed to people treating her well or even noticing her. Stays to herself, but likes mischief and will do anything to cause it and watch it play out. Does not like debts, unless they are owed to her. Because of her history, she is normally a get in, get paid, get out.

Backstory: Akima does not know her last name or much about her parents. Born of human parents, (her grandmother on her mother's side was a Djinn, hence her Sylph race) she had a happy childhood until she was 20. One night, while she was hiding in the rafters in her parent's HUGE house (prior to the birth of their child, her parents were powerful in the human world. They made many allies and many enemies, but this is all unbeknownst to Akima.), a human rogue came in and killed her parents. Akima followed the rogue that night, and for the next 10 years. She watched him, and everyone, unseen from the shadows of the cities he lived and worked in. One night, on the tenth anniversary of her parent's murder, she snuck in and killed him.She took his supplies and his money, and began to work his jobs. She stole and murdered and did whatever she had to to protect herself. She has only met one other Sylph, and they stalked each other for 7 years before conceiving a child, which ended up being a full human baby. Akima left the child on the stoop of the house of a baker and her husband. She fled the city and ended up in a tavern in the woods, where is where she met the party.
